I am Tarun Biswas, hailing from the picturesque state of Uttarakhand, and my artistic passion lies in capturing the essence of human faces through portraits. Since a very tender age, I have been inexplicably drawn to the allure of faces, fascinated by the rich tapestry of emotions and expressions that different races possess. This fascination led me to embark on a creative journey centered around portraiture.
My artistic odyssey began by portraying my family members—my brother, father, mother, and other beloved kinfolk. Gradually, I broadened my horizons and ventured into painting the faces of celebrities, the innocence of children, and the wisdom etched on the countenances of the elderly. Even today, I derive immense joy from capturing the wisdom and stories etched into the features of the elderly. The diverse nuances and shades that distinguish each face offer me a profound sense of fulfillment and satisfaction, as I immerse myself in the world of my artwork. Recently, I have been engrossed in a series of paintings dedicated to women. With each brushstroke, I strive to depict the multifaceted aspects and deep emotions that women embody in society.
Using acrylic medium on canvas, I endeavor to breathe life into my artistic expressions. My paintings bear titles such as "Umeed," "Talash," "Virah," and "Umang," each associated with different emotions that reflect my innermost feelings, which I earnestly seek to convey through the vivid strokes of my brush. My artworks become a conduit through which I share my emotions with the world, hoping to resonate with the hearts of those who view them.
