The second day of the 9-day art workshop of Pahad Ke Rang sounds like another productive and enriching day for all the participants. Beginning at 9 am, the participants eagerly presented their layout designs for their paintings to me for approval. This step ensures that the artists start their work with a clear direction and vision, setting the stage for meaningful artistic creations. With my approval in hand, the young artists dived into their respective canvases, immersing themselves in the process of drawing and bringing their ideas to life. This hands-on experience allows them to refine their skills, experiment with different techniques, and express their artistic visions.
In the evening, as per the program, I have arranged for an online slide show featuring a famous interview with the esteemed art couple painters, Manu Parekh and Madhavi Parekh, from Lalit Kala Akademi, Chandigarh. Such interviews are incredibly beneficial for the budding talents of the mountains as they offer valuable insights into the artistic journey of established artists. Listening to the experiences and perspectives of Manu Parekh and Madhavi Parekh provides inspiration and guidance to the participants. Learning from the stories and challenges faced by successful artists can motivate young artists to persevere, explore their own artistic path, and believe in the possibilities of their own creativity. The inclusion of these interviews in the workshop's program showcases the commitment of Pahad Ke Rang to provide a holistic learning experience for the participants. It fosters a sense of community, shared learning, and a deeper understanding of the art world.
Overall, the second day of the workshop seems to have been both fulfilling and enlightening for the young artists. It has given them the opportunity to engage in practical art creation while also gaining valuable insights from established artists. This combination of hands-on learning and exposure to the experiences of accomplished individuals will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and development of the participants' artistic journeys.
